Nov 17, 2022 · Over the past week dolphin fishing has been pretty solid. The best dolphin reports seem to be coming in roughly 600-800' of water. Depth has varied depending on water conditions. Trolling small ballyhoo, bonita strips, or squid remains the best bet on the dolphin. Inside of 300' the sailfish have started to bite a little better. The sailfish bite remains good up and down the line. Not huge numbers on the sailfish; but very consistent action day in day out on them.Look for 150-300' of water to remain a pretty effective depth range to target. While you may find some fish out deeper; for the most part the deep side of the edge is a good place to start. Kingfish remind scattered along the 120' ledge in good numbers. A cobia or two have also been lurking around the same areas.
