If the head and block are still good, it will be worth it. Putting the chevy motor in will probably DECREASE the value of the car if it is a nice car vs. rebuilding the current motor.I used the 190e. 2.3 16 Getrag which is what the OP intends to use. No need for custom driveshaft, sections can be merged. Good idea to do the manual swap first. get that up and running then dive into engine swap, less chance for any issues.:thumbsup:
